Red Morocco leather armchairs line the Gallery and overlook the Saloon between Corinthian fluted columns faced with scagliola.
   
Postcard 2
Originally planned as an open courtyard, or cortile, the Saloon is the heart of the Club and is covered by a crystal roof.

Birdseye maple veneered bookcases, constructed in the Card Room in 1995, accommodate part of the Club Library.

On the Gallery, sober classicism contrasts with the light and airy brilliance of the crystal roof to make one of London’s finest interiors.

Inspired by the Palazzo Farnese in Rome, the Club House was one of the first buildings in London built in the Italian Renaissance style.
